We are partnered with a prominent Global Investment Management firm on an exciting Southern Europe focussed Marketing Manager (Fluent Italian or Spanish speaking essential) opportunity based in The City of London. You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of several marketing initiatives for institutions and financial advisers for the Southern Europe region (Italy and Iberia).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead the planning and delivery of the local marketing plan within the region, ensuring alignment with business primacies, working closely with Business Development Managers of the region.
  • As part of the local marketing activities develop the following:
  • Local content strategy – including all formats written, video, audio etc.
  • Local email strategy – regional, segment and engagement focused
  • Advertising and media localisation
  • Social media strategy
  • Accounts based marketing strategy
  • Digital user experience and website management
  • Events strategy
  • Working with the wider Marketing team, develop and execute marketing plans for the region with each stage of the funnel in mind, using innovative platforms and channels to fuel production and distribution.
  • Working in partnership with the content, digital & campaigns teams to implement marketing plans for your region across the full range of marketing disciplines
  • Activities may include strategic and tactical campaigns (products, thematic, brand or education).
  • Monitor and analyse all performance – keeping metrics at the center of all you do. Being an advocate for the importance of reporting and making data driven decisions.
  • Assist with regional budgets, ensuring that spending is aligned with business objectives and delivers a positive ROI.
  • A high level of interaction and close teamwork will be required, with business partners, central/local marketing, and affiliate marketing teams. Manage relationships with external partners, such as marketing agencies, media outlets and freelancers.
  • Key stakeholder engagement and management

Desired Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, preferably in the asset management or financial services industry.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and analyse campaign performance.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Understanding of financial markets and investment strategies.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Profession working proficiency of English and Italian/Spanish essential
  • French/German languages an advantage but not essential
