Role Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic and results-driven Senior Marketing Manager to join our dynamic Central London team. In this leadership role, you will oversee and mentor a team of four marketing professionals, dedicating 70% of your time to team management and strategic guidance while ensuring flawless execution of innovative marketing strategies. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the marketing function and delivering measurable results that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four marketing professionals, fostering a high-performing, collaborative culture.
    • Provide strategic guidance to the team, ensuring alignment with company objectives and maximising productivity.
    • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and professional development plans to support individual and team growth.
    • Manage workloads and prioritise projects to meet deadlines effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Marketing Strategy & Execution:
    • Develop and oversee comprehensive multi-channel marketing strategies to achieve brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue goals.
    • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, product, creative, and conference production) to align marketing efforts with overall business objectives.
    • Monitor and analyse campaign performance, leveraging data insights to optimise strategies and ensure maximum ROI.
    • Stay ahead of industry trends, implementing innovative marketing approaches to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Event Portfolio Growth:
    • Play a key role in marketing efforts for an event portfolio expected to grow by 50% next year, ensuring the team delivers high-quality campaigns that drive delegate ticket sales and sponsorship growth.
  • Budget Management:
    • Manage and allocate marketing budgets effectively, ensuring resources are utilised to maximise impact and meet business objectives.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Senior Marketing Manager or in a similar strategic leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in managing and mentoring teams, with a demonstrated ability to foster talent and drive results.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to develop and execute impactful marketing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience in digital marketing, social media, email campaigns, content marketing, and analytics.
  • Data-driven with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Conference marketing experience is essential.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to balance multiple priorities.
