Senior Marketing Executive – Inhouse

Our client is an international market leader that provides the largest range of innovative products, training and technical support for their industrial sector. With over 150 employees, they manufacture and distribute public health products through operating companies in the UK, Europe, the United States and China.

They are looking for a Senior Group Marketing Executive to join the team asap!

Ideal Candidate:

The Group Marketing Executive is for a worldwide group of companies operating in the distribution of public health and pest control products, as well as providing the services of a marketing agency for external clients.

This role is responsible for the day-to-day support of the Group Marketing Manager, providing group support to various sister companies. Strong organisational skills along with some database and analytical skills are required. It requires project management and communication skills along with a positive, proactive attitude to promote good teamwork.

This role reports directly to the Group Marketing Manager and will require some travel to breakfast meetings, workshops and exhibitions.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the management of promotional items, from ordering to keeping stock and sending to Area Sales Managers when needed.
2. Database management and analysis.
3. Writing creative briefs and briefing designers.
4. Proofreading company literature and documents.
5. Undertaking market research.
6. Content writing for industry magazines, press releases, blogs, website content, product descriptions.
7. Involvement in the creation, print and stock of printed literature, including liaising with printers and mailing houses.
8. Proactively contacting internal and external clients.
9. Project Management.
10. Account handling for the sister companies.
11. Organising Breakfast Meetings and Workshops.
12. Organising CPD points for customers after events.
13. Attending breakfast Meetings and Workshops – shared between both executives.
14. Assisting the Marketing Manager and Digital Executive in organising, coordinating and attending exhibitions.
15. Organising photography and videography when needed.
16. Maintenance of the Marketing area in the warehouse – keeping it tidy, before and after exhibitions.
17. Management of department workload in absence of Marketing Manager.
18. Close liaison with the Marketing Manager, Digital Marketing Executive, and Marketing Director.
