Sasaki is a 350-person design firm internationally-recognized for excellence in architecture, interior design, planning & urban design, space planning, landscape architecture, civil engineering, and graphic design.

Sasaki is seeking a full-time Marketing Coordinator or Senior Marketing Coordinator to join our Denver or Boston office. The role will focus on the civic and commercial sector and work closely with the Civic/Commercial Manager and coordinator team to help bring in new work.

This role will work closely as a member of Sasaki’s Marketing team on the thoughtful execution of high-quality marketing materials for different work streams including but not limited to proposals, qualifications documents, brochures, interview materials, and project pages.

You will also take on a supporting role in shaping the presentations that design teams deliver to potential clients at interviews—in terms of delivery and content. You will facilitate and contribute to strategy discussions with principals and senior staff on business development efforts tracked in our CRM system, and lead research initiatives on potential clients and competitors.

Required Skill Set

• Minimum 2+ years of experience for the Marketing Coordinator role and 5+ years of experience for the Senior Marketing Coordinator role in a high-volume AEC firm, producing multiple submissions at a time.
• Demonstrated expertise in communicating strengths of a company with a large and complex portfolio of work, especially through the RFP/RFQ process.
• Interest in the environment, design, and urbanism; you will become a subject matter expert quickly and continue to deepen your industry knowledge over time.
• Extremely strong InDesign skills working within a branded template is required.
• Experience mentoring and coaching peers.
• Experience and comfort communicating with senior firm leaders.
• Strong copyediting skills and experience reviewing documents for adherence to brand standards and grammar/spelling.
• Team player attitude, ready to jump in where needed.
• Ability to calmly juggle multiple submissions and overlapping priorities, comfort in ambiguity, and strong attention to detail.
• Proven experience working independently, ability to seek out answers to complex problems, and ask the right questions.
• Experience using a CRM program or managing a database of project information.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working within the civic/commercial sector or experience with architecture, landscape architecture, planning, and/or urban design projects.
• OpenAsset and/or Deltek CRM experience.
• Sasaki uses Chicago Style--working in this previously is a plus.
• Experience working in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator.
