The Role

The Senior Market Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining a high-quality portfolio of competitive hotel and property products for Trip.com's global traveler base. This role involves working with lodging partners within an assigned territory to maximize market production potential.

In this Role, you'll get to:

  1. Partnership Development: Build and sustain strong partnerships in a strategic territory by providing data insights and consulting services (e.g., revenue management, marketing opportunities).
  2. Strategic Influence: Develop relationships with C-Suite and GMs to influence at a strategic level.
  3. Optimization: Ensure partner hotels' products (content, rates, availability) are optimized on Trip.com sites to maximize customer conversion.
  4. Rate and Availability Management: Secure additional lodging rates and availability during high demand periods.
  5. Promotions: Secure seasonal deals and promotions to support Trip.com's merchandising and marketing efforts.
  6. Engagement Promotion: Promote hotel partners' engagement with Trip.com's suite of tools and opportunities.
  7. Market Representation: Represent Trip.com in assigned markets and establish relationships with key local influencers.
  8. Collaboration: Work with internal stakeholders to execute business initiatives and drive market strategy.
  9. Process Improvement: Provide input to senior management on scalable solutions to improve process efficiencies.
  10. Coaching: Coach colleagues on best practices.
  11. Self-Learning: Engage in regular self-learning to improve skills.
  12. Project Management: Direct internal or regional projects as required.
  13. KPI Execution: Execute effectively based on KPI metrics.
  14. Commercial Initiatives: Perform in-market commercial initiatives such as seminars, webinars, and partner roundtables.
  15. Travel: Travel for partner visits 20-30% of the time.

What you'll Need to Succeed:

  1. 5+ years of experience in account management, partner/client success, consultative sales, or related field.
  2. Experience in influencing at scale.
  3. Native in English.
  4. Passionate about travel.
  5. Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
  6. Strong appetite for innovative technology and data-driven decision-making.
  7. Effective prioritization and multi-tasking skills.
  8. Strong organizational and time management skills.
  9. Resilience in testing situations.
