Job Description:

As a Retail Marine Account Executive, this is your chance to work from home full time and not only see clients in the UK but also develop business abroad in Malta, Greece, Cyprus, and Ireland.

You will be in a senior position, heading up a new business team, representing a specialist, independent Marine Insurance Broker with binders/facilities in place for Marine Trades, Marine Yachts, Marine Liability, and Marine War business.

This role is characterized by a 'light touch' management style.

This position offers a unique opportunity compared to the typical ‘generalist retail insurance broker’ and will provide you with the platform to grow the existing book efficiently and quickly. There are untapped opportunities, allowing you to travel across the UK, Ireland, and wider Europe promoting unique products while leading a highly effective team.

As the Commercial Marine Manager, with full use of Acturis, you will lead a small team of Marine Brokers/Account Executives and act as the main focal point between the team and the Directors. You should have a track record of developing new Marine Trades/Retail Marine business both in the UK and Europe, along with strategies to expand your footprint.

You will be offered a strong salary and package deal, with the option to work from home full time or from the offices in Greece, with full international travel covered. An attractive bonus/commission structure will also be provided.

You should have a background in building relationships with marine businesses exclusively or have serviced a mixed portfolio with some marine exposure and wish to focus on this area of the market.
