Job description

Lime is the world's largest shared electric vehicle company. We’re on a mission to build a future where transportation is shared, affordable and carbon-free. Our electric bikes and scooters have powered 700+ million rides in 250+ cities on 5 continents, replacing an estimated 150+ million car trips. Named a Time 100 Most Influential Company and Fast Company Brand That Matters, Lime continues to set the pace for shared micromobility globally.

We are looking for a stellar Senior Manager to join our market expansion team to help increase the cities we serve across the United States. As the Senior Manager, Proposal Writer you should have experience with public procurement and tender processes, preferably from cities to private companies. You need to be a strategic thinker that understands the priorities of cities across the EMEA region and transportation growth, and have the ability to communicate how Lime can contribute to city success in a well-crafted written document.

What you'll do:
  • Write clear, compelling, and creative content for RFIs, tenders/RFPs and other public procurement and licensing processes
  • Analyse legal and permit requirements and craft strategy for responding to tenders/RFPs
  • Collaborate with a proposal manager, designer, and content manager to create comprehensive and strategic project plans for tenders/RFPs
  • Gather insights from and build productive partnerships with our motivated, experienced team of local operations and policy teams as well as a wide range of other cross-functional partners
  • Travel to our most important markets to strategize and plan for upcoming projects with pre-tender workshops, consultants, and brainstorms with local teams
  • Document regulatory and policy best practices from cities for internal and external stakeholders
  • Build on our established best practices, toolkits, and content library in collaboration with the other proposal team members
About you:
  • 5+ years of relevant experience with a focus on content writing and project management
  • Experience with reading and analysing regulations, tendering documents, and city planning documents
  • Public or private sector experience in procurement
  • Excellent writing skills, with a love for the written word
  • Bachelor’s degree required (focus on communications, public affairs, journalism, languages or literature, or other related fields such as transportation or urban planning), with Master’s degree preferred.
