Delaware North Australia has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Innovation to drive the proposal and execution of first-to-market initiatives on-site at Marvel Stadium.

This role is crucial for driving growth and maintaining a competitive edge by introducing and implementing innovative ideas, technologies, and practices to improve guest experiences, streamline operations, and enhance profitability.

What you will do?

• Define the long-term innovation vision and strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on enhancing operational efficiency, improving guest experiences, and ensuring competitive differentiation in the market
• Develop a roadmap for innovation initiatives, detailing project timelines, resources, and expected outcomes. Ensure that the roadmap addresses both short-term needs and long-term growth objectives
• Build a strong relationship with the client to align our goals, and explore immersive experiences that surprise and delight guests across multiple functions
• Work closely with external vendors and service providers to negotiate terms, secure competitive pricing, and ensure smooth integration of external solutions
• Support operational teams with training and implementation of new systems and tech solutions
• Identify emerging trends and new technologies, to introduce solutions to create personalised and immersive guest experiences such as AI, IoT and mobile solutions

• Proven experience in the hospitality industry, with a focus on innovation, technology integration, or project management
• Proven track record of successfully managing innovation or transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of the latest hospitality trends, guest preferences, and technological advancements
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results
• Analytical mindset, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
• Creative and forward-thinking with the ability to identify opportunities for new services or improvements
• Strong communication and presentation skills to convey innovative ideas to stakeholders at all levels
• Familiarity with design thinking and agile project management methodologies is a plus
