Discover Impactful Work:

The Senior Manager, Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of global HEOR activities to support the Binding Site’s existing portfolio and pipeline products. This individual will play a key role in developing and completing HEOR strategies and will also assume a critical leadership role in the coordination and development of country-specific value communication tools and HTA submissions. This position requires strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional colleagues.

A day in the Life:

  • Support development and execution of global HEOR and evidence generation strategies to support global product launches, label expansions, and US & EU market access.
  • Conduct HEOR studies and build value materials to meet global evidentiary requirements (i.e. global value dossiers, US & EU budget impact models, cost-effectiveness analyses, synthetic control studies, literature syntheses, etc.)
  • Pull through the evidence generated into publications.
  • Support coordination and implementation of global HTA strategies, including dossier development and submissions, in collaboration with Medical & Scientific Affairs and Market Access colleagues.
  • Provide support and guidance to early-stage program teams to optimize clinical development.
  • Collaborate with US Payer, Market Access, and Medical Science Liaison field-based teams to understand and meet needs of key partner evidentiary requirements.
  • Be a subject matter expert on HEOR, sharing knowledge and providing informed evidence-based recommendations to other functions as needed.
  • Remain on the forefront of the relevant competitive landscape as well as emerging HEOR methodologies and applications.
  • Communicate regularly with internal and external collaborators to ensure all parties are up to date on the HEOR information relevant to them, including strategies, risks, and progress.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • Masters, PharmD, MD, or Doctoral Degree in a life science, health economics, health policy, healthcare finance, or a related field required.

Experience:

  • Demonstrated ability in health economics and reimbursement in pharma, medical device, or IVD industry required. Minimum of 5 years of experience in health economics and outcomes research in pharma, medical device, or IVD industry required. 7+ years of experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAS, SPSS, or R required.
  • Proven ability to independently develop economic and population health models in support of value propositions across all phases of a product’s lifecycle required.
  • Publication record in health economics strongly required.
  • Technical and analytic capabilities in the following areas: economic modeling, economic evaluation, cost-effectiveness evaluation, patient focused outcomes, burden of disease, epidemiology, statistics, and health care policy.
  • Experience / knowledge of global HTAs evidentiary requirements and processes.
  • Proven ability to drive research agendas to completion and dissemination.
  • Previous experience conducting formal presentations to Senior Management and external opinion leaders.
  • Proven ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality, apply feedback to improve performance, and monitor own work to ensure quality.
