Qualifications:

1. Accountancy qualification ACCA/ACA/equivalent experience with up to date technical knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS, including practical application
2. Excellent Excel knowledge; a plus is experience of accounting systems, particularly PCS (Investran) and Yardi
3. High level of attention to detail and accuracy
4. Positive and flexible approach
5. Strong interpersonal, data analysis/problem solving, communication and judgement skills
6. Able to prioritise and meet deadlines
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
8. Pro-active and service orientated approach

Responsibilities:

This role will focus particularly on delivery of technically accurate accounts, financial statements and periodic reports for a varied portfolio of fund clients in accordance with agreed deadlines. Responsibilities include:

1. Client relationship management
2. Mentoring and coaching of junior team members
3. Supporting fund administration colleagues
4. Reviewing team performances
5. Maintaining accurate accounting records in Viewpoint, PCS and Yardi
6. Building and developing relationships with clients, auditors and service providers
7. Ensuring accounting queries are resolved
8. Acting in accordance with governance services
