Job description
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Enterprise Systems Strategy and Architecture to join us in our Reading office.
Reporting to the Director of Oracle ERP and Corporate Applications, this role is responsible for the end-to-end strategy and architecture of systems within LGSSC, specifically covering Finance (ERP), Procurement, Supply Chain, HR, Payroll, and Corporate Applications.
What will you be doing?
Define and evolve the Finance and HR Systems strategy in line with LG Shared Services business vision and objectives.
Cost assessment of Finance and HR Systems' software for LG operating companies.
Support solution architecture and delivery activities for initiatives involving Finance and HR Systems.
Work with and support business analysts and application owners/SMEs to ensure specific deliverables are aligned with global finance and HR systems' strategy.
Perform management activities for direct and indirect reports (team).
Contribute to the formalisation and implementation of Shared Services systems strategy and vision by undertaking any other activity, as identified by senior managers in Shared Services and wider Finance functions, to realise short-term and longer-term objectives.

Essential
Knowledge of architectural frameworks and standards.
People management experience.
Substantial experience in a shared services environment.
Experience of working in IT delivery work-streams, in a wide range of roles including within solution architecture and development disciplines.
Experience of high profile technology and process change projects.
Examples of delivering process, technical, and organizational changes within a shared service environment.
Exposure to ERP and finance processes and systems in a technical development and support environment.
Formal training in lean/6 sigma methodologies.
Good understanding of ITIL best practice and development methodologies.
Finance or related back office operational background, ideally with BPO experience.
Good knowledge of financial controls, IT security standards, and Data Privacy/GDPR, Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
Sound knowledge of business case and benefit realization measurement.
