Senior Manager - Chartered Accountants

The Role:

As a Senior Manager, you will take a leading role in managing a portfolio of non-audit clients, primarily focusing on businesses with a turnover between £1 million and the audit threshold. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Statutory Accounts Preparation: Overseeing the preparation and filing of statutory accounts for a variety of clients, ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations.
2. Xero Implementation & Support: Assisting clients with the setup and implementation of Xero, providing ongoing support to ensure their financial systems run smoothly and efficiently.
3. Outsourced Financial Controller Service: Providing an outsourced financial controller service, helping clients to manage their financial processes, improve their reporting, and enhance decision-making.
4. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as their go-to advisor for financial matters and ensuring the highest level of service.
5. Team Leadership: Mentoring and supporting junior staff, fostering a positive, collaborative team environment that encourages continuous learning and development.

Key Requirements:

1. ACA/ACCA (or equivalent) qualified.
2. Strong experience working with non-audit clients, particularly in the preparation of statutory accounts and management of financial processes.
3. In-depth knowledge of Xero, with practical experience of setting up and supporting clients using the platform.
4. Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and colleagues alike.
5. Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and lead a team in a busy, deadline-driven environment.
