Management Accountant in St Albans:

We are looking for a Management Accountant to support a fast-growing business. This is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team and gain experience working for a PE-backed company. This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office), and the salary on offer is up to £80,000 PA (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

• Prepare management accounts for group entities including monthly consolidation within a 5 day close process.
• Prepare variance analysis providing insights into the group's financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure that all balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly.
• Support the AP and AR teams by overseeing the reconciliation of bank and HIF accounts prepared by AR and AP teams & oversee the reconciliation of the Ledgers.

Requirements:

• You must live within a commutable distance from St Albans.
• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
• 5 years of experience in Management Accounts, in a reporting and financial control environment.
• Previous use of Sage X3 or similar software.
• Strong analytical, quantitative and communication skills.
• Advanced Excel user with the ability to manage/format large files, produce ad hoc reports and perform data analysis.
