Job Description

Come join the Mayo Clinic Healthcare Imaging Team! We are looking for a Senior Mammographer with experience and an interest in other modalities within imaging. The Senior Mammographer will have extensive experience in Breast Imaging and screening programs.

Qualifications

  1. Postgraduate in Mammography, CT/Xray/MRI experience is desirable.
  2. Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent.
  3. Current valid HCPC (Health Care Professional Council) registration is required.
  4. Knowledge in Breast Imaging Audits.
  5. Relevant post graduate experience with the post DCR in mammography obtained in the UK from a HCPC recognized institute.
  6. Follow all imaging procedures, utilizing modality guidelines in accordance with best practices (IRMER2017), CQC standards, SOR and RCR guidelines.
  7. Evidence of continuous Professional Development.
  8. The ability to work autonomously.
  9. Manage time and prioritize workloads according to service/clinical needs.
  10. Build and sustain professional relationships as part of the Imaging Team as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  11. Must have the right to work in the UK (relocation is not offered).
  12. Able to professionally communicate (verbally and written) in English.
