We are currently recruiting for a Senior Maintenance Planner, working within the Maintenance & Facilities Teams. Responsibilities will include reviewing the maintenance programme for the coming year. Manage the maintenance schedule and coordinate PPM & Reactive Maintenance Windows around operational requirements / priorities. Must have knowledge of a CMMS system.

Role: Senior Maintenance Planner
Role Type: Permanent
Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, typically 0745 - 1645
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000, plus excellent company benefits
Location: Milton Park, Abingdon (onsite role)
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Review maintenance program for the coming year and smooth internal workload evenly for each trade, highlighting any resource deficiencies.
- Manage maintenance schedule and co-ordinate PPM & Reactive Maintenance ‘windows’ around operational requirements/priorities and availability; both of assets and Engineers, through close liaison with key department contacts.
- Produce monthly Work Management Metrics to illustrate compliance to schedule adherence, backlog by trade, and workload each month.
- Actively monitor and review backlog to ensure that GMP/safety/environmental PM’s and associated work requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Work with Engineering Stakeholders to identify Continuous Improvement opportunities, improve work efficiencies, and undertake corrective actions to support GxP and maintain compliance.
- Ensure internal resource (Evotec Maintenance Team) and external resource (Specialist Contractors) perform Preventative Maintenance activities in accordance with site procedures, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) recommendations, industry standards and Good Engineering Practice (GEP).
- Conduct ongoing, regular reviews to ensure the integrity of the CMMS maintenance history database.
- Monitor and maintain operational workflows, streamline where appropriate and recommend improvements (cost, quality and process efficiency).
- As SME for CMMS, and Planning/Scheduling act as point of contact during audits, and ensure associated procedures are kept up to date.
- Oversee Asset Management; add and remove assets and ensure associated maintenance activities are in place resulting from changes or projects.
- Manage the Aptuit & Evotec Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in accordance with corporate guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Participate fully and diligently in projects and changes to keep asset register and maintenance activities up to date.
- Train the local users in CMMS use.
- Ensure Facilities Administrator completes data entry to a GxP standard and ensure Archive records are audit ready at all times.
- Become the Line Manager for our Facilities Administrator.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Previous experience working as a Scheduler or Planner.
- Must have previous experience of a CMMS system.
- Understand good maintenance practices ideally gained in a GMP / regulated environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Highly organised.
- Good time management skills.
- PC literate with ability to collate information and produce / run reports.
