Job Role: Senior Maintenance Technician

As a Senior Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the operational efficiency of three key government sites: Newport, Titchfield, and Christchurch. This is a dynamic role where you will be entrusted with overseeing mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance, as well as minor works, across a variety of facilities including large office buildings and a warehouse storage facility. You will be an essential part of the team ensuring the highest standards of service and maintenance are met.


What We Expect You to Do

  1. Independently oversee the maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical, and fabric systems across multiple sites.
  2. Perform minor works and ensure all buildings and facilities are operating safely and efficiently.
  3. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  4. Supervise and guide junior team members when necessary, offering support and expertise where required.
  5. Take initiative in identifying and resolving maintenance issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  6. Maintain accurate records and documentation of all maintenance activities.
