About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Magento Developer to join our fast-growing e-commerce and marketplace team. You will play a key role in building and optimizing scalable Magento solutions used by global brands. You’ll work across various Magento 2 instances, implement business-specific features, integrate third-party services, and collaborate with other teams (front-end, DevOps, QA, and product).

What you'll do:

1. Develop and maintain custom Magento 2 modules and themes.
2. Build and enhance REST & GraphQL APIs for headless integrations.
3. Perform system architecture and deployment with Docker, GitLab Pipelines, and AWS.
4. Customize the Magento admin panel to support specific B2B/B2C workflows.
5. Optimize store performance using tools like Redis, Elasticsearch, and Varnish.
6. Migrate Magento 1.x projects to Magento 2.x, including data and custom modules.
7. Collaborate with frontend teams using headless CMSs (AEM).
8. Maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
9. Lead or mentor junior developers in clean code and modular architecture.
10. Engage in code reviews and technical documentation.

Requirements

Required Skills & Experience

1. 5+ years of PHP development experience with a focus on Magento 2.
2. Strong knowledge of Magento architecture, design patterns, and coding standards.
3. Proficient with Symfony components, especially in custom backend development.
4. Experience with GraphQL and REST API customization.
5. Proficiency in MySQL and experience with Elasticsearch and Redis.
6. Hands-on experience with Docker-based environments and deployment automation.
7. Familiarity with version control and CI tools (Jenkins, Bitbucket).
8. Solid understanding of E-commerce workflows and order processing.
9. Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.
10. Strong adaptability to evolving project requirements and client needs.
11. A proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement.
12. Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
13. Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects efficiently.
