Senior Legal Counsel - Data and Technology

We are working on a Senior Legal Counsel role with a multimodal media organisation.

They are looking for a data protection lawyer with a background in privacy, general risk, and compliance.

The role will also focus on data, privacy, tech, AI projects and emerging technology.

The team, several of whom joined from Magic and Silver Circle firms, will be delighted to consider a Senior Associate currently in a well-regarded Data Privacy practice who is ready to make the in-house move.

Salary around £140,000

Hybrid working model, London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Records of Processing Activities (RoPA) and Data Mapping
• Data Protection Impact Assessments
• Transfer Impact Assessment
• Data Sharing and Processing Agreements
• Data Privacy Compliance
• Data breach response
• Reviewing and negotiating agreements with technology partners
• AI and technology compliance
• Advising on AdTech, promotional and marketing campaigns, and various advertising matters

Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified solicitor, 7+ PQE
• Strong data, privacy, tech, AI experience
• Solid understanding of AdTech
• Legal background in Media and Technology
