32 1/2 hours per week term time only, fixed term for 1 year in the first instance

Actual salary £25,000 - £28,355

Please note this salary is based on a full year post, as such your actual salary is dependent on your start date and will need to be recalculated once all clearances are in place and a start date has been agreed.

Shepwell Short Stay School is a progressive and vibrant learning community that focuses on raising the aspirations and potential of every pupil at the school. The role will be based across sites.

Due to increased need we are opening a satellite school to be based at Shelfield Ormiston in Walsall.

We have places in school for 30 learners, all who have an EHCP and work in a very bespoke manner to support our learners' complex needs. We will offer a curriculum similar to that delivered at Studio School with relevant interventions and one-to-one or group support.

Do you have the motivation and skills to work with young people with complex needs including mental health, illness, autism, and ADHD to overcome the challenges they face and enable them to ‘achieve their potential?

Duties cover a range of activities including delivering PSHE/Wellbeing lessons, being prepared to train as a THRiVE practitioner, and delivering one-to-one and small group interventions.

Working closely with the SEN team to arrange, conduct, and complete paperwork for EHCP annual reviews is a vital part of this role, so experience is desirable.
