Job description

Role: Senior Landscape Architects/Planners

Location: Sheffield

Salary: £DOE

We're on the lookout for passionate and conscientious Senior (or above) Landscape Architects with a particular interest in landscape planning and design to join an expanding multi-disciplinary team in Sheffield. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new chapter of growth, offering a unique chance to help shape the development of their Sheffield studio in collaboration with the Studio Lead. The office is based just a short walk from the station and city centre.

You'll be working alongside a talented team of Landscape Architects, Ecologists, Masterplanners, and Heritage Consultants across five regional offices. Projects range from mixed-use developments and renewable energy schemes to rewilding initiatives in the Scottish Highlands and the design of new garden villages. Their goal is to create places that benefit communities and support ecological recovery, design that delivers real impact.

ABOUT YOU

We're looking for someone with a strong design sensibility and a solid understanding of landscape and visual assessment, ideally with some experience in EIA development. You'll be eager to create attractive, sustainable environments and contribute to meaningful projects.

IDEAL REQUIREMENTS
  1. A degree/post graduate degree in Landscape Architecture
  2. Chartered (CMLI) or on the pathway — full support and mentoring available
  3. Be organised and collaborative, with the confidence to take the lead on key projects with support
  4. Be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD
  5. Be proactive, hard-working, and open to new challenges
  6. Have excellent written English and strong verbal communication skills
  7. Hold a full, clean UK driving licence
