Lead Careers are working with a multidisciplinary studio in Central Birmingham who are looking for a Senior Landscape Architect. They are a friendly team made up of Landscape Architects, Urban Designers and Ecologists who all love a good design challenge and genuinely care about creating places that work for people, nature, and the future.

The team works on all sorts of landscape-led projects, everything from large-scale masterplans to parks, streetscapes, and public spaces that people enjoy. They’re passionate about creating places that bring people and nature together, whether it’s a green corridor through a development or a lively town centre square. Each project is different, and they work closely with planners, ecologists, architects, and engineers to ensure the result is not only practical but genuinely impactful.

ABOUT YOU

You know your way through a project, from big-picture thinking to the finer technical detail
A natural collaborator, confident leading but just as happy rolling up your sleeves
Chartered (CMLI)
5+ years’ experience across different project stages
Comfortable running projects and guiding junior team members
Confident with AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite and maybe Revit, SketchUp or Lumion
A great communicator, full of ideas, and fun to work with

Leading exciting projects from early concepts through to delivery
Working closely with planners, urban designers, ecologists and clients
Contributing to a supportive, fun studio culture
Sharing your knowledge and helping the team grow
