Join Us as a Senior Land Surveyor at CWA - Contribute to the Future of Clean Energy at Sizewell C

Are you an experienced Senior Land Surveyor looking for your next challenge? This is your opportunity to make a real impact on a landmark project that will shape the UK's energy future. At CWA (Civil Works Alliance), we are supporting the development of Sizewell C, a new 3.2-gigawatt nuclear power station that will generate low-carbon electricity for around 6 million homes and provide clean energy for at least 60 years.

As a Senior Land Surveyor, you will work closely with the Survey Manager to deliver all survey requirements for the Sizewell C project. You'll be responsible for leading and mentoring the survey team, implementing standardised processes for capturing survey data, and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising the survey team and providing guidance on all survey-related activities
• Collecting, processing, and issuing survey data to stakeholders in the required formats
• Ensuring all survey operations meet site-specific tolerances and comply with health and safety regulations
• Producing site safety briefings, including risk assessments, work package plans, and task briefing sheets
• Managing survey data, equipment, and materials to ensure effective project delivery

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Extensive experience with survey-specific software and modern survey technologies, such as Autodesk Civil 3D
• A strong understanding of geodetic requirements and settlement monitoring systems
• Experience in establishing GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) networks
• A CSCS card and ideally additional qualifications such as SMSTS
• Proven experience leading and mentoring survey teams, ensuring high standards of quality and safety
• A commitment to sustainability and Zero Harm, with a focus on safe working practices
