We are working with a highly successful and fast-growing retailer who is looking for a Senior Ladieswear Buyer to join their dynamic team.

The Senior Ladieswear Buyer will spearhead the development of on-trend, commercial ranges.

Responsibilities

• Developing and implementing new strategies aimed at overall improving ranges
• Regularly reviewing products and range plans, and ensuring there is cohesion across departments
• Working closely with factories overseas and negotiating cost prices
• Working with the merchandising team to manage budgets and monitor sales
• Planning and building commercial ranges
• Attending sign-off meetings, trade meetings, and presenting ranges
• Carrying out extensive trend research, and attending comp and inspiration shopping trips

Qualifications

The Senior Ladieswear Buyer will have previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of developing and trading commercial fashion ranges and a passion for trends.
