Job description

We are recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join a well-established, leading manufacturer of scientific consumables and a trusted provider within the Life Science industry. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced laboratory technician seeking career growth in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Job responsibilities:

  • Preparing and manufacturing laboratory products
  • Processing and fulfilling sales orders, including labelling and packaging
  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring stock is well maintained
  • Overseeing equipment maintenance and calibration schedules
  • Conducting internal audits and assisting with external assessments
  • Supporting the development of SOPs, risk assessments, and quality management documentation
  • Supervising and training laboratory staff and supporting the laboratory team lead where necessary

Requirements:

  • Hands-on laboratory experience is essential
  • Experience with ISO 17025 & ISO 17034 is desirable
  • Strong organisational and planning skills with great attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Additional experience with COSHH, risk assessments, and dangerous goods shipping are a plus!
