IT Systems Support Analyst (AS/400)

We are working with one of Northern Ireland’s leading employers. They are currently seeking an experienced AS/400 Professional to provide Business Analysis and application development services.

In this role you will:

• Lead the provision of IT systems support through effective incident, service request, problem and change management to end-users at the defined service levels.
• Maintain an effective IT operations environment by carrying out planned and remedial work as needed to maintain the defined service levels for a given service delivery domain (infrastructure / business systems).
• Manage the implementation and delivery of new IT systems and minor changes / enhancements to existing IT systems across one or more systems development domains (RPG / MS / Qlik).

Does this sound like you?

• Minimum 5 years working as a Senior Analyst Developer using IBM System-I (AS/400) Technologies and Programming Environments (RPG, ILE, SQLRPGLE, DB2/400)
• Knowledge of RPG, MS-Access, MS-SQL, .Net, or Qlikview systems development technologies.
• Experience of general business analysis / systems analysis.
• Strong analytical skills.

Desirable Criteria

• TSM / ITIL Foundation Certified or equivalent.
• PRINCE / PMP Foundation Certified or equivalent.
• Experience working in a regulated environment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Server Platforms, Active Directory, MS Exchange, LAN/WAN Administration and MS-Access.
