The company focuses on delivering personalised insurance and risk management services to both personal and commercial customers. It also handles specialty and wholesale broking, and has an underwriting division that distributes specialist products through partnerships with over 2,000 UK insurance brokers.

Your new role
The Senior Internal Auditor (IT) will be crucial in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of the organisation's internal control framework, particularly focusing on IT systems, infrastructure, and related processes within the insurance industry. This role involves auditing IT systems, networks, and cybersecurity protocols, as well as assessing risks, controls, and compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. The position requires a deep understanding of both IT and insurance industry-specific systems, along with the ability to evaluate complex technology environments.

What you'll need to succeed

1. 7+ years of IT Audit experience
2. CISA Qualified
3. Extensive knowledge of insurance industry regulations and IT governance frameworks, experience in auditing IT systems such as ERP, claims management, policy administration, underwriting, and financial reporting systems, and familiarity with cloud computing environments.
