Role: Senior IT Analyst

Location: Gloucester (Hybrid Working)

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum (DOE)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior IT Analyst has arisen to join a growing firm based in Gloucester, offering IT Support across various educational establishments in the local area.

This position will be joining their established IT Team, providing onsite support across infrastructure and end-user environments. An exciting opportunity to work on multiple large-scale Network and Infrastructure projects across their client sites, offering variety in your day-to-day work.

What will you be doing as a Senior IT Analyst?

1. Support and maintain IT networks, including infrastructure, workstations, peripherals, and software.
2. Implement and develop the Service Desk support and incident management policies and processes to all clients and stakeholders.
3. Implement and develop IT Service Desk incident and support service offerings in line with internal and external KPIs and SLAs.
4. Ensure that all clients have access to the IT resources required to perform their roles effectively and efficiently.
5. Provide 3rd line support to clients effectively and efficiently.
6. Provide desktop, on-premise support to clients as required.
7. Be a point of escalation for complex IT incidents and service requests as required, from the Service Desk and the IT Support Analysts.
8. Support the use of ITSM through the ITIL methodology, including incident problem and change enablement.

What experience do you need as a Senior IT Engineer?

1. Ideally, have experience working within IT support for an educational provider.
2. Demonstrated experience in supporting onsite IT infrastructure, with a focus on end-user devices and support.
3. Ability to communicate effectively with various audiences, including senior leadership, teachers, support staff, and students.
4. Capable of managing multiple work streams and projects simultaneously, demonstrating strong time management and organisational skills.
5. Technology exposure across the following:

• Windows 10, 11
• Microsoft Office 365 and Desktop Office Suite
• Microsoft Entra (formerly Azure Active Directory)
• Azure Services (Basic understanding required)
• Intune for Mobile Device Management
• Networking (DHCP, DNS, TCP/IP, VLAN, Switching, Wireless, WAN)
• Firewall Configuration & Management
• Audio & Visual Equipment
• Anti-Virus Technologies
