Senior Interior Designer Job in Central London

A new Senior Interior Designer job is now available, in Central London. The successful candidate will join the residential team of an established interior design firm, with an outstanding portfolio of high-end projects in the UK and overseas. Salary up to £52,000 DOE.

Having gone from strength to strength over the years, working on some fantastic hospitality, F&B and residential projects, my client is now looking to expand their residential team. The ideal candidate will have a background in luxury residential projects with exceptional attention to detail and a strong interior architecture background.

Role & Responsibilities

• Working on luxury residential projects alongside the Director and wider team
• Concept development and design research
• Interior architecture; producing technical packages, detailed drawings, joinery etc
• FF&E design
• Overseeing and marking up drawings
• Leading a small team
• Liaising with contractors, suppliers and third parties.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience working on luxury residential projects
• Proven experience working on projects from concept development through to installation
• Ability to produce/ review detailed drawing packages and tender documentation (drawings and specifications), bespoke joinery etc
• Strong FF&E abilities and skills
• Ability to oversee and guide junior and mid-weight designers
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise with clients, contractors and third parties
• On-site experience
• Proficient with AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, InDesign and MS Office.

• Salary: Up to £52,000 fully DOE
• 21 days holiday + Bank Holidays (increasing by 2 days after 2 years of service, then an additional 2 days after 4 years of service)
