Job description

The Senior Integration Engineer for the Red Hat OpenShift Platform is a member of our Supply Chain Modernization team. The Integration Engineer will have experience with Cloud infrastructure, specifically with AWS services. In addition, they will be responsible for developing container operators for automation and for security controls, working with development teams to assist in containerizing traditional applications. Collaborate with project and customer team members to meet timelines and goals.

Responsibilities
  1. Implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipeline with Tekton, ArgoCD, GitOps.
  2. Implementing and maintaining using Ansible Automation Platform (AAP).
  3. Developing and implementing policies for the use of cloud services.
  4. Managing requests for new technology.
  5. Establishing a secure cloud environment.
  6. Ensuring appropriate availability of services.
Minimum Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering or other engineering or technical discipline. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
  2. Experience with Red Hat OpenShift & App Foundations.
  3. Experienced in Dynatrace monitoring tool.
  4. Understanding of cloud infrastructure.
  5. Experienced in AWS services.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Experience in Linux.
  8. Must be able to achieve a moderate (Tier 2) VA position of trust.
  9. 18+ years of experience in a technical field.
Other Preferred Qualifications
  1. Experienced in InterSystems IRIS.
  2. Experience in Java or Python, Docker, and Git.
  3. Experienced in IT Operations and Maintenance.
  4. DevOps/ Automation (scripting, Ansible, Terraform, etc..) / GitOps versed with modern technologies and best practices.
  5. Experience working in the Federal Government, Veteran's Administration (VA) experience a plus.
  6. Active clearance for Public Trust Position.
Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
