Senior Indirect Tax Manager

The Senior Indirect Tax Manager will:

• Oversee the efficient execution of end-to-end VAT compliance and reporting activities
• Ensure accuracy and clarity in balance sheet reconciliations related to indirect tax
• Proactively identify and drive opportunities for process enhancement and automation
• Partner with the Tax Transformation Team to implement improvements in indirect tax processes
• Lead and support a small team in delivering the indirect tax compliance strategy
• Collaborate with the Indirect Tax Advisory Senior Manager to test and implement system and process updates
• Safeguard compliance with evolving legislative and regulatory requirements

The ideal candidate will:

• Hold a professional qualification (ATT, ACCA, or ACA), with significant professional experience
• Strong experience overseeing indirect tax compliance and accounting across the UK and globally, including the US
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams
• Skilled in managing tax audits and responding effectively to tax authority enquiries
• Strong ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results under pressure
• Solutions-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
