About Our Client

My client, a manufacturing business in Oxfordshire, is seeking a Senior Indirect Buyer to join them on an interim basis. In this role you would be required to procure indirect services and there's an opportunity to work from home one day per week.

Job Description

• Manage the procurement process, ensuring adherence to budget and timelines.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage suppliers and vendors.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies.
• Ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures.
• Handle contract negotiations and agreements with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews.
• Prepare procurement reports and provide updates to management.

The Successful Applicant

• Have proven experience procuring indirect services within the industrial / manufacturing industry (essential).
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and policies.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
• Live in commuting distance to Oxfordshire.
• Be available to start within the next couple of weeks if not straight away.
