Senior In-House Litigation Paralegal

This is an opportunity for a Paralegal with Litigation experience to join an in-house team.

Description

This is a chance to move in-house and join a small litigation team.

The team has a head of department who you will report into, as well as other litigators, paralegals and support staff.

The work will involve:

1. Working as part of an in-house function
2. Debt recovery focus from reviewing initial debts and claims, drafting pre-action letters, issuing proceedings and potentially drafting statutory demands and winding up petitions
3. A well run department using Proclaim case management
4. Great exposure to a mix of work
5. Liaising with other departments within the business

This role would suit a Paralegal who perhaps wants to move away from the world of private practice into an in-house role.

This is an office based role - 5 days per week in the office.

Profile

The role would likely suit somebody with at least 6-12 months Litigation experience in the UK. The key attributes are good attention to detail, experience in drafting (i.e., witness statements, letters of action) and being able to work as part of a team.
