The Wealth and Asset Management industry is growing strongly and is facing high levels of change driven by themes such as regulation, cost optimisation and differentiation. Our team works closely with KPMG’s broader advisory practice to link WAM client needs to capabilities from across technology.

What will you be doing?

You will be a Manager within our Tech Transformation Practice (aligned to WAM Consulting) and will be helping both grow our business and ensure our teams deliver high quality advice to clients. You should expect to be involved in a wide range of challenging client engagements across the WAM value chain.

As a manager, you will oversee the delivery of key client work items such as leading projects or workstreams as well as owning key deliverables. The role involves management and delivery of complex client engagements to ensure quality and value to our clients by:

• Understanding their business challenges and the threats they face
• Helping them navigate the increasingly regulatory environment
• Application of governance, delivery frameworks and operating models
• Developing team members through sharing of experience and knowledge
• Upholding KPMG’s values by acting with integrity
• Building and managing stakeholder relationships
• Project managing engagements to deliver high quality work in a timely manner
• Supporting sales activities such as proposal development and client presentations.
• Contributing to practice management, e.g., knowledge sharing, training, proposition development, and knowledge management.

What will you need to do it?

• Experience of delivering large multi-disciplinary technology enabled programmes within the Wealth and Asset Management Sector
• Good understanding of the full WAM value chain as well as traditional asset classes
• Good understanding of the operational and technological challenges associated with WAM businesses
• A track record within the Wealth & Asset Management industry
• Ability to lead workstreams within large scale technology transformation programmes
• Proven expertise in Project Management
• Understanding of a wide range of information security and IT methodologies
• Ability to develop excellent relationships both internally and with clients at a senior level
• Proven ability to analyse problems and recommend appropriate solutions
• Excellent communication skills (both written and oral), negotiation and project management skills
• A genuine interest in the WAM technology sector
• Experience in Business Architecture, vendor selections or implementations

Qualifications/Certifications:

• University Degree
• Industry qualifications (e.g., CFA, IMC, CAIA)
