Senior HVAC Engineer

Senior HVAC Engineer required in the M3/M4 North region for our client, a leading HVAC company that has 6 regional offices and has been expanding since it formed over 20 years ago. They offer their customers a complete turnkey solution for the installation, service, maintenance, fault finding and repair on a range of HVAC equipment.

Their client base consists of long–standing client relationships with clients such as David Lloyd Leisure, Vue Cinemas, Cineworld, Tate & Lyle, Radisson Hotels, Hilton, Malmaison & more.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary GBP40,000 – GBP50,000 DOE
• Company Van – Optional Personal Use of the vehicle
• Profit share scheme applicable after 12 months' service – Up to GBP3,600 tax free
• Overtime paid at 1.5x
• 40 hour working week, travel paid after 30 mins each way
• On call allowance (1 in 4/5, GBP1,200 guaranteed – if called out Travel Paid door to door)

The Senior HVAC Engineer must hold strong technical ability & knowledge on a variety of HVAC equipment. The Senior Engineer will be tasked with more complex remedial tasks & will also provide technical support & training to the company's more junior engineers. The Senior Engineer will also be responsible for client facing duties & must hold previous experience at this level of client contact.

Minimum Requirements

• Advantageous to have a Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
• 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F–Gas)
• Full Driving Licence
• Experienced with service, maintenance, fault finding and repair
• Technical knowledge of HVAC Equipment
• Supervisory experience
