Job description

Following continued growth and expansion, a leading manufacturing company has a new vacancy for a Senior HR Advisor to join the team. You will play an integral role in supporting business goals and increasing growth and profitability. The ideal candidate will be CIPD qualified, have excellent communication & coaching skills, and will have worked in a fast-paced environment. This position offers excellent career opportunities.

Commutable from: Coventry, Nuneaton, Leamington Spa, Warwick, Rugby, Hinckley, Stratford, Southam.

Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 p.a. + benefits.

The Role

  1. Work closely with the Human Resources Director & Human Resources Manager in the development and execution of strategic workforce plans in partnership with business leaders.
  2. Efficiently administer HR policies, procedures, and standards in line with employment law.
  3. Use people analytics to help facilitate action planning and to make informed talent & people management decisions to enable organisational effectiveness and success.
  4. Work with employees, managers, and trade union representatives to counsel, investigate, and resolve employee concerns in a timely manner.
  5. Support talent acquisition processes; actively involved in recruitment and onboarding processes.
  6. Complete monthly and annual HR Metrics reports.
  7. Develop and implement an external engagement calendar with a focus on volunteering, educational partnerships, and brand awareness.
  8. Partner with and lead cross-functional teams on local employee engagement projects.

The Person

  1. Experience in Human Resources, preferably in a fast-paced environment (manufacturing, logistics, distribution, etc).
  2. Collaborator with the ability to exercise considerable judgment and discretion with a proven track record of establishing and maintaining a good working relationship.
  3. Self-directed, flexible, and able to manage multiple competing priorities.
  4. Must demonstrate a high level of integrity, confidentiality, and commitment.
  5. Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation.
  6. CIPD Qualified.
