Senior Housing Legal Assistant

A local authority based in South London is seeking a Senior Housing Litigation Legal Assistant for an initial period of 3 months.

The successful Housing Legal Assistant will need to carry a caseload of matters to include disrepair, ASB, homelessness, and possession proceedings. You will also need to undertake administrative tasks, support lawyers in the team, collate and update spreadsheets, and overall provide a support function to the department.

This is a temporary role to start ASAP. Candidates must have previous housing litigation experience, ideally gained in the public sector. Due to the urgent nature of the role, we are seeking candidates available on 1-2 weeks’ notice. This is not an entry-level role, and therefore previous experience in this area of law is essential.

The role is paying a day rate of £160.97 PAYE or £201.34 umbrella.
