We have a fantastic opportunity for a permanent Senior Highways Civil Engineer / NEC Project Manager to join our Consulting Highways design hub at Stafford. This is a hybrid role, offering you flexibility to work between the office and home.
Amey have been working with Staffordshire County Council since 2014 to manage and maintain the county's highways infrastructure. We take pride in delivering exceptional infrastructure services across 6,000km of Staffordshire, ensuring roads, cycle routes, bridges, tunnels, lighting, drainage, traffic signals, trees, and land are well-maintained and improved to enhance the lives of local residents and communities.
As a Highways Senior Civil Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in managing the design and delivery of projects on the Highways account. This would allow for a wide-ranging scope of mainly medium-sized projects but with some larger projects included, with recent schemes being major bypasses, trunk road improvements, and new major infrastructure sites preparation. There will be a particular focus on site supervision acting as a NEC Project Manager for sites within Staffordshire. Accreditation as an ICE NEC Project Manager would be beneficial.
