Job Overview
The QEQM Coronary Care team provide care for critically ill patients on our Coronary Care Unit. Our unit is staffed by a dedicated and supportive team who pride themselves on their drive for innovation and the support and opportunities we offer to our staff.

Qualifications
Essential criteria

  • GCSE or equivalent in maths and English.
  • Care Certificate.
  • Holds a level 2 qualification in Health & Social Care or has previous relevant/equivalent experience.
Desirable criteria
  • NVQ Level 3.
  • Knowledge of care and related procedures, clinical observations, relevant legislation; short courses to undertake patient and clinical care duties, completion of a competency-based workbook.
Experience
Essential criteria
  • Recent clinical experience in an acute Trust.
  • Delivery of evidence-based practice.
Desirable criteria
  • Previous experience at Band 3 within specialty.
  • Evidence of facilitating learning in practice.
  • Evidence of ongoing personal + professional development.
Skills

  • Basic IT skills.
  • Time management and personal organisation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and openness to working in a range of areas.
