Ward 41 is looking for experienced healthcare assistants to join a collaborative and enthusiastic team. The service has recently expanded and we require senior healthcare assistants to support us with discharge planning and supporting the junior workforce. Ward 41 is a 36 bedded unit which has 12 Hyper-Acute Stroke Beds (HASU) and 24 Acute Stroke beds (ASU). The successful post holder will be dynamic and have a positive attitude.

You will be required to rotate between nights and days and will also regularly take on the role of discharge co-ordinator, this will involve assisting and organising complex discharge planning working closely with the nurse in charge and the wider multi-disciplinary team to support patient flow within the trust.
