Senior Health, Safety & Resilience Manager

Job Description

A leading real estate company is looking for an experienced Senior Health, Safety & Resilience Manager to take ownership of H&S strategy and compliance at one of London’s most high-profile mixed-use estates. This is a diverse and vibrant destination, home to a mix of commercial offices, retail, residential, and public spaces, as well as a year-round programme of events and cultural activations.

The Role

This is a key role in shaping the estate’s long-term safety and risk management strategy. The successful candidate will:

1. Lead on health & safety strategy, ensuring best practice across all aspects of estate operations.
2. Oversee building safety and compliance, including fire safety, risk assessments, and contractor management.
3. Support the delivery of large-scale events and activations, ensuring all H&S measures are in place.
4. Drive compliance with the Building Safety Act and evolving regulations, keeping the estate ahead of industry standards.
5. Develop and test crisis management and emergency response plans, training teams and key stakeholders.
6. Identify opportunities to introduce innovative safety solutions and sustainability initiatives.
7. Work closely with FM teams, occupiers, and external agencies to create a proactive safety culture.

What We’re Looking For

1. A seasoned H&S professional with experience in large-scale estates, property management, or advisory.
2. Strong knowledge of real estate regulations, fire safety, and risk management frameworks.
3. A practical, solutions-focused approach to balancing compliance with operational needs.
4. Experience working in public-facing environments with a mix of stakeholders.
5. Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels.
6. A relevant CMIOSH / MIIRSM qualification (or working towards it) would be a strong advantage.
