Senior Health Care Assistant

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, enthusiastic, motivated, child-focused individual to join our small, special school nursing team at Ravenshall School.
As a Health Care Assistant, you will work both independently and alongside the existing registered nurse to promote the well-being of Children and Young People at the school.
Previous experience of working with children and young people with complex health, learning disabilities, and special educational needs is essential, and there will be opportunities to develop your existing skills and gain new skills and knowledge within this role.
The post holder will undertake duties alongside the registered nurse to promote the holistic health care and well-being of Children and Young People at the school by supporting planned programmes of care to ensure that the health needs of any child are recognised and managed appropriately and that disruption to the pupil's access to education and learning is minimised.
The successful applicant will be expected to work Monday to Friday for 37.5 hours a week in TERM TIME only.
