The Senior Health and Safety Advisor Role
As a Senior Health and Safety Advisor, you will provide expert health and safety guidance to clients, contractors, and project teams across various construction projects. You'll ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations, undertake risk assessments, and lead on-site safety audits to drive best practices. Senior Health and Safety Advisor Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert health and safety advice on a range of construction projects.
- Ensure compliance with CDM 2015 regulations and other relevant safety legislation.
- Conduct site audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments.
- Deliver training and toolbox talks to project teams and contractors.
- Prepare and review pre-construction information and construction phase plans.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to integrate health and safety best practices into the design and construction process.
- Support junior team members and contribute to their development.
The Senior Health and Safety Advisor
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent qualification (NEBOSH Diploma desirable).
- Membership with IOSH or APS (TechIOSH, GradIOSH, or CMIOSH preferred).
- Extensive experience in a health and safety advisory role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of CDM 2015 regulations and health and safety practices.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work flexibly within a team environment.
