Description: We are hiring for our client, a highly regarded organisation in the medical devices sector, who is seeking an Electronics Hardware Engineer to join their R&D team in Coleraine. Reporting to the Engineering Director of Product Respiratory, the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and testing of cutting-edge electromedical devices used in anaesthesia and intensive care. The Role:

• Design and develop electromedical devices for anaesthesia and intensive care.
• Oversee device repairs, servicing, and compliance with EU MDR, ISO13485, and related standards.
• Collaborate on testing, analysis, and root cause identification to improve product performance.
• Develop user manuals, technical reports, and training materials.
• Stay at the forefront of industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies.

The Person:

Essential:

• Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar.
• Proven hands-on experience in electronics product development.
• Expertise in PCB design or fault-finding and repair.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD or similar.

Desirable:

• Experience in medical device electronics development.
• Knowledge of quality management systems (QMS) and relevant standards (e.g., ISO 13485, IEC 62304).
• Strong fault-finding skills with electronics products and PCBs.
