We are seeking a talented and highly creative middleweight or senior Graphic Designer to join one of our key accounts within the creative industries. This is a multi-award-winning business with a fabulous reputation in the marketplace, that just keeps going from strength to strength. As a business, they offer ongoing training and development for the right individuals, always preferring to promote from within wherever possible.

The site is state of the art and offers a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in graphic design specifically with retailers and brands and a passion for brand identity and the journey. You will also need to have an agency background and experience with mentoring more junior members of the studio. Any additional skills would also be advantageous.

Overview of Duties

• Utilise Adobe Creative Suite, the usual industry standard software for this type of role.
• Set the standard for more junior team members.
• Produce authentic and innovative design projects with a clear focus on brand identity and development.
• Collaborate with internal teams within design, projects, and sales & marketing teams to create visually attractive campaigns for clients.
• Lead and mentor more junior members of the team as and when required.
• Create and edit video content as needed, applying skills in video editing to enhance our visual storytelling.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for design projects.

Experience & Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects) is essential.
• Agency experience in the same or similar industry sector.
• Able to lead and mentor.
• Ideally 5 years' plus experience.
• A strong background in brand identity and journey as well as an appreciation of retail and high street brands.
• Familiarity with sketching tools; additional ability to hand sketch would be advantageous.
• Able to think outside of the box, offering highly creative and innovative solutions.
• Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for aesthetics and visual composition.

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
