Senior Geotechnical Engineer | £40,000 | Derby

My client is a geotechnical and environmental engineering consultancy looking for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join their team in Derby. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work on some interesting new ground investigation projects.

Your job as the Senior Geotechnical Engineer will include a wide range of responsibilities. You will be leading ground investigation projects whilst mentoring junior staff. Your role will mean that you enjoy a mix of office and site work - with the option to work from home! From a day-to-day basis you will be covering:

1. Phase 1 and 2 reporting
2. Geotechnical analysis
3. Risk assessments
4. Site investigations
5. Site supervision

Essential Criteria:

• Relevant geotechnical experience
• Relevant degree
• Full UK driving licence
• Live within a commutable distance of the Derby office
