The Opportunity:
As one of the UK’s leading environmental and engineering consultancies, Wardell Armstrong LLP is looking to appoint a motivated and ambitious Senior Geoenvironmental Engineer to join our Ground & Environmental Engineering (GEE) team in Bolton.
The GEE team undertakes a broad and diverse range of geo-environmental, geological, and geotechnical projects across all of Wardell Armstrong’s key sectors. The position offered forms part of the continued expansion of the Bolton engineering and environmental team due to a strong pipeline of exciting projects and comes with the opportunity for career progression.
The successful candidate should have specific experience and competence in Contaminated Land Investigations, Assessments, and Remediation services. The role will also include making contributions to the wider Ground Engineering Service Area established in our offices across the UK.
The successful candidate shall be responsible for delivering projects to a high standard, mentoring junior staff, and supporting innovation and continuous development of the team and output. This key role requires close collaboration with the senior members of the team and with technical specialists in other disciplines. Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:
