Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant

Location: Hybrid - Bristol or London

Lucion is a market leader in environmental and geo-environmental consultancy, delivering innovative solutions that enhance safety and sustainability in the built environment. We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant to join our team, where you will have the opportunity to contribute to projects that assess and mitigate environmental risks for development and regeneration projects.

Your responsibilities will include:

1. Conducting Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, including desk studies and ground investigations.
2. Assessing soil and groundwater contamination, identifying pollutant linkages, and conducting risk assessments.
3. Preparing technical reports, including contamination assessments and remediation strategies.
4. Delivering and overseeing projects on time and within budget.
5. Engaging with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and best practices.
6. Contributing to the development of innovative solutions for land contamination and environmental challenges.

What you'll bring:

1. A degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related discipline.
2. Minimum of 4 years’ experience in geo-environmental consultancy or contaminated land assessment.
3. Knowledge of UK environmental regulations and land contamination guidelines.
4. Experience in site investigation techniques, environmental sampling, and data interpretation.
5. Strong report writing skills and attention to detail.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
7. A full UK driving licence.
