Job description

Our client is seeking a Senior Fund Administrator to join their Open-Ended Investment Administration Team. This role involves managing and administering two significant open-ended umbrella fund structures, ensuring high-quality client service and reporting. The successful candidate will report directly to the Assistant Manager and play a key role in supporting the team with fund administration tasks.

Job Duties:

  1. Ensure excellent client service and delivery at all times.
  2. Prepare client deliverables, including periodic management account packs and required reports.
  3. Handle a range of client queries efficiently and professionally.
  4. Maintain accurate book-keeping records for various investment funds.
  5. Calculate income and expenses for investment funds.
  6. Process payments using online banking systems.
  7. Conduct KYC/AML checks on applicants for shares in investment funds.
  8. Complete timesheets daily and meet chargeability, WIP, recoverability, and debtor targets within deadlines.
  9. Provide support to the wider team as needed.
  10. Undertake any other reasonable duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  1. A minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a fund administration environment.
  2. Strong attention to detail to ensure consistently high-quality work.
  3. Excellent organisational skills with a focus on accuracy and timely completion of tasks.
  4. Good administrative and numeracy skills.
  5. Ability to adapt to varied tasks and changes in business processes, including new software.
  6. Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise at all levels.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  8. Ability to manage workload effectively and prioritise tasks accordingly.
  9. Flexible approach with the ability to work under pressure and respond calmly to changing demands.
  10. Willingness to develop a comprehensive understanding of fund structures, transactions, and operations.
  11. Ability to work effectively within a team and contribute to the wider team's success.
