Senior Fund Administrator

Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Senior Fund Administrator to join their thriving and professional Fund Services team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to manage the full lifecycle of client portfolios, including onboarding and ongoing administration, while providing exceptional client service. Reporting to the manager, you will play a key role in maintaining the high standards of fund administration and mentoring junior team members.

Job Duties:

1. Manage the administration of a portfolio of fund clients, associated management companies, and fund structures.
2. Coordinate company secretarial matters, including preparation for board meetings and drafting minutes.
3. Oversee fund operations such as drawdowns, distributions, and closings.
4. Provide technical support and training to colleagues as needed.
5. Collaborate with the fund accounting team on investor reporting, audits, and accounts filings.
6. Ensure client relationships are nurtured, expectations are managed, and services are delivered effectively.
7. Process payments, maintain banking systems, and manage AML/KYC documentation.
8. Monitor and ensure timely statutory and regulatory filings.
9. Delegate work within the team to maintain high service levels.
10. Act as a mentor and supervise junior staff.
11. Carry out other ad-hoc duties as required.

Job Requirements:

1. Proven experience in fund administration and company secretarial roles.
2. Working towards or holding a professional qualification such as STEP, CGI, or ACCA.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of specialist software such as entity management and fund administration systems.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
5. A proactive, flexible approach with excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
6. Capability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
