Salary £38,000 - £42,000 per annum + up to 10 % bonus

Senior Fund Accountant - Global Group - Permanent - Remote/office hybrid working - Based in Swindon - Hays

Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading global group to recruit a dynamic & experienced Senior Fund Accountant for their Swindon, Wiltshire office. Offering remote/office hybrid working, this permanent position will join a growing accounting team in a varied role involving both management and financial accounting processes reporting directly to the Accounting Manager. You will have multiple interactions with a range of internal/external parties, business partnering to communicate effective financial information. The position will offer future growth/development opportunities where you can really add value, along with a competitive benefits package.

Your new role
Your key duties will involve preparing monthly management accounts, including analysis, reconciliations of balance sheet and statement general ledger items, net asset value computations, along with provision of tax information to the relevant tax specialists. You will produce monthly management information, prepare liquidity forecasts, submit quarterly VAT returns, general ledger reconciliations, along with financial analysis to provide reporting to lenders. You will support the preparation of annual statutory financial statements, liaise with internal/external auditors when required, and review acquisitions/disposals pipeline. You will be involved in continuous improvement projects and ad-hoc duties for senior finance management.

What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this fast-paced Senior Fund Accountant role, you will need experience in a similar position, ideally part-qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA. Strong communication skills to build relationships at all levels both internally/externally, deadline driven, with a proactive working approach. You will have key management accounting experience, financial accounting skills, with the ability to analyse/interpret variances. Strong MS Excel skills and trained in a range of financial systems. Experience within a financial services environment, fund accounting or property fund accounting would be advantageous but not essential.
